Background

01/06/2009 - The design inspiration was opening lock gates in the English Canal system. It was an experiment using a variety of hand dyed fabrics which tookk the dyes in different ways. It is large (1.8 x 1.5 m) and so it was also a challenge to quilt my domestic machine..
