Background

15/12/2008 - One of a series of quilts inspired by trees in mythology and folklore. The Celtic Tree of Life is often represented with the roots balancing the branches, and the Celtic tree oracle, linked to the ogham alphabet, provides the names stencilled around the border. Raw-edge bonded appliqué on batik fabric with stencilled border; machine quilted. .
