The Carrow waistcoat

Background

15/12/2005 - This is a faithful modern representation of an 18th C corded linen waistcoat, held in the collection of the Costume and Textile Association Museum in Norwich, UK. It has been hand quilted, trapunto'd and has additional pulled thread work. Fabric is cotton sateen with a silk brocade backing.
