Lavenders' blue, dilly, dilly

Background

14/03/2003 - Completely hand-stitched, this Japanese folded patchwork technique was my first attempt at a large quilt (king size). Like Topsy, it just grew and grew. The quilt marks my retirement and represents the joy of leaving full-time employment and having time to sew my passion. A medal to my husband for picking up all the loose threads!.
