Jean's red-work quilt.

Background

22/12/2008 - My mum made made this beautiful quilt for me. In the tradition of red-work quilts, every panel relates to an episode in my life, or to our family history. The boat represents my grandfather's boat - he was a Lighterman on the river Thames. I love the quilt, and have it on my bed. It's like sleeping under a family saga. .
