Background

30/06/2008 - This is one of the first quilts I made after becoming hooked on P&Q, supported by friends at the Alternative Quilt Group. I was working out some understanding of tones using B&W prints but because I really love colour in my quilts, couldn't resist adding the bright stripes. This is not very heavily quilted and maybe one day I will add more but for now it has pride of place as my dining table cover, clashing with everything else in the room, but that's part of why I like having it around..
