Driftwood

Background

01/03/2008 - March 2008 Journal Quilt was inspired by a photo from our local beach "Vason Bay". I printed the picture onto a cotton lawn inkjet sheet and painted a piece of Bond'a'Web with acrylic paint, when dry this was ironed onto the lawn. After this I free-motion quilted the piece. Then I added the leaves and some beads made from shells.The dry leaves is a good stand-in for driftwood. 12"/30cm square..
