00/00/0000 - Stella Coeli-- (Star in the Sky).60" x 60" The star block in a kaleidoscopic arrangement was computer manipulated to a sphere shape. It is hand and machine pieced, (mostly hand)and machine quilted. A narrow piping outlines the sphere and it is machine appliqued to the background. The shading is intended to reflect a light source from above and provide a dimensional effect..
