Background

28/02/2010 - Inspired by the poem of the same name by John MaCrae written during the WWI, the quilt is of hand dyed silk noil, folded and dyed, covered with falling poppies in silk and cotton, with grey thread representing the barbed wire and crosses to commemorate the thousands who died..
