Background

14/04/2007 - When a Scottish friend’s daughter married an Indian lad I made them a patchwork wall-hanging by combining their national flags. I used fabrics which combined the blue and white of the Scottish saltire with the saffron, white and green of the Indian flag. These included Paisleys, tartans, Australian aboriginal prints (I’m an Aussie) and scraps from the bride’s childhood..
