Juliet's Light Made for the Quilter's Guild Contemporary Quilt Group Breakthrough Challenge 2010. Inspired by one of Shakespeare’s most well-known lines - Romeo gazing up to Juliet’s window sees the light breaking through: “But soft, what light through yonder window breaks?”
Hand-dyed cotton poplin and calico, markal paintstick and free-machine quilting with rayon and cotton thread. Quilt size 60cm x 60cm
