Sacred Patterns: Quilted Meditations on the 54 Torah Portions Sacred Patterns is a series of five quilts, one for each of the first five books of the Bible. Each square represents a traditional Jewish weekly Bible reading. The name of the quilt pattern used, and the fabrics chosen for the square, relate to the Biblical themes for that portion. The quilt series will go on long-term display at Congregation Agudas Achim Synagogue in Austin Texas USA starting in April of 2010.
