Squared Illusions 6 It measures 34" in width by 44 inches in height. It is a continuation of a series in which I'm digitally experimenting with repeating and progressively diminishing squares and illusions of varying depths. I am doing the experimentation using Adobe Photoshop and a Macintosh computer. The quilt blocks are printed on silk with Ultrachrome archival pigment inkjet inks. The blocks were machine sewn together and further enhanced with pastels, colored pencils, and textile paints. It is machine quilted. The quilt has been honored to win the Master Award for Innovative Artistry award at the 2007 International Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas, USA.
