Internships

The Museum runs student and graduate internships with the following departments: Collections, Exhibitions, Director's Office, Marketing and Learning.

There are currently no internships available, watch this space for forthcoming opportunities.

Further information

Interns must be aged 18+, a registered college or university student or a recent graduate and able to commit to a minimum four week internship (full or part-time).

Covering letter

Please specify your areas of interest within museums, write a brief statement outlining what you hope to achieve from the internship and include the dates of your availability.

Confirmed internships

When an internship becomes available, appropriate applicants will be invited for informal interviews with the internship supervisor. The successful candidate will be offered the internship subject to the V&A's vetting system. Details of the internship will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis, in order to create placements that best meet the needs of both the intern and the Museum. The Museum also provides an induction programme as well as specialised training as appropriate.
