Tell us a bit about your role...

I'm the Exhibitions Assistant. I help manage our temporary exhibitions and small displays, and our touring exhibition programme. I manage the loans programme of objects coming into and out of the Museum, to all different venues around the UK and world. I also help look after the Galleries and the Museum interactives for all the visitors to enjoy.

How long have you been here?

I joined the Museum half way through the redevelopment project when it was closed. I've worked here since June 2006.

What is your favourite childhood memory?

My best childhood memories are of the walks I went on with my family in the Scottish hills and woodlands, where we used to play outdoor games like hide and seek around the trees, and 1, 2, 3, wheeeee. Never ending fun as a kid, and good exercise too!

What was your favourite childhood game?

My favourite childhood game was skipping. I could skip for hours, up and down, either on my own or with friends and we'd make up skipping rhymes to play along to.
