A Hundred Years of the Teddy Bear

2003 marks the centenary of the creation of the Teddy Bear. Although bears as toys and novelties were around before this time it is from November 1902, when Theodore Roosevelt refused to kill a bear cub while on a hunting trip, that their popularity can be dated.
