The V&A Museum of Childhood offers an exceptional, stunning and historic venue on the edge of the City. The magnificent sweeping Marble Floor is surrounded by the collections, creating a memorable backdrop for any event. The Museum is on the Central Line, only one stop from Liverpool Street.
The Marble Floor can hold up to 300 for a dinner, and 900 for a drinks reception, extending to 1,000 if including the Front Room Gallery.
The Galleries are open to guests wishing to explore the Museum at leisure. The rich history of this Grade II* building can be seen in the Victorian ironwork ceiling and in the Marble Floor itself, which was pieced together by female inmates of Woking Gaol in the early 1870s.

Daytime room hire
The Summerly Room is a large multipurpose space which can seat up to 150 people / 50 boardroom style. The room contains a fixed ceiling projector with pull down screen and a computer with a CD and DVD drive. All the furniture is moveable, so the room can be set up to suit individual requirements.
Smaller meeting rooms are also available forhire or to use as break out rooms for larger conferences. Each room can seat 40 people theatre style / 20 boardroom style, and are equipped with a projector, screen and computer with DVD and CD playing facilities.
Please note these rooms are generally only available for hire after 14.30 during term time or at weekends and during the school holidays.
