The First World War produced many striking and moving works of art. Explore work made by local people and in whose footsteps you walk today.
The Museum was founded to inspire and bring examples of great art and design to the people of the East End. This area has been an area of inspiration and home to many talented artists, writers and poets. Those who were affected by the events of the First World War will be examined in this illustrated talk alongside the Museum’s original remit to show great works of art to the public.
