July 2012 – July 2013

Part of the Welcome to Our World… series of small displays, examining some of the more difficult issues surrounding childhood today.

Teen Knife Crime looked at the statistics behind the headlines, and questioned whether knife crime really is on the increase. The display examined the reasons why young people may choose to carry a knife, but also looked at the valuable work undertaken by inspirational young campaigners.

Developed in partnership with the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies, Futureversity,Say No 2 Knives, idontcarryaknife.org, and Lives not Knives
