I was not keen on the idea of fairytales at first. I thought they were only sweet and sugary and not a true reflection of real life. Reluctantly, I still sat down to browse the internet and read a few – I soon realised I had to review my perception! I was delighted when the horrific ending of the Grimm’s Snow White was so unsentimental.
