Folk tale inspired
Stove is based on one of the earliest large scale glass houses built in the 1850s by English architect
and gardener Joseph Paxton. In spite of its enormous size the Crystal Palace at Sydenham was extremely vulnerable and eventually succumbed to the primeval forces of wind and fire. In the same way as ancient folk tales developed, stories about this lost treasure have already begun to evolve.
