Learn about movements and mechanisms by examining toys. The longer session gives children a chance to make a moving toy to take home.

Investigating Victorian Children (Years 6 and 7, 1 hour, £70)

Examine census returns, newspapers and other contemporary sources and objects to investigate the lives of Victorian children. This session can be adapted on request to suit GCSE Sociology groups.
