The Peopling of London: Migration and the Making of the Modern City

Tuesdays 12 January - 23 March 2010 (11 weekly sessions), 14.30-16.30

For centuries, successive waves of immigrants have provided the lifeblood of the metropolis, bringing in new cultures, trades and skills and helping to transform London into a world city. The Peopling of London assesses the contribution of immigrants to London's diverse history, examining their experiences as they settled and how they made the metropolis their home.

Note about fees

The higher fee has to be paid by those who already have an equivalent or higher qualification than the Certificate of Higher Education
The lower fee is for those that don't have the above qualification
Bracketed fees are the concessionary rates for those in receipt of benefit
