Britain's oldest and most prestigious pram maker, Silver Cross, joined forces with the V&A Museum of Childhood for an exhibition of traditional coach built prams in 2003.

The Yorkshire based company Silver Cross has been hand making prams since 1877 celebrating the launch of its Heritage range with the display of some old and new Silver Cross models at the Museum.

The Silver Cross Passion for Prams display included examples of: a Silver Cross Fleur de Lis; a Silver Cross Balmoral and the 1958 Greta toy pram.

With a history of making prams for the Royal Family and more recently celebrity royalty such as Catherine Zeta Jones and Sarah Jessica Parker, Silver Cross has been dubbed the "Bentley for Babies".
