ViewPoints
7 May - 24 July 2005
On 1 October 2004, 141 children and young people across London were all doing the same thing - taking photographs of one day in their lives.
They were taking part in the children's photographic project ViewPoints. A selection of 18 photographs, including the winning entries showed us what was important to children taking part.
Taken together, the photographs represented London in all its diversity. The Viewpoints photographers were aged 5-13 years and from 16 different London boroughs, from Hammersmith to Hackney. Some came from minority ethnic groups or traveller communities, some had disabilities or learning difficulties, and some were young offenders. They were all recruited from London Children's Fund Partnership.
