Bettina von Zwehl: Profiles III
7 August - 25 October 2009
Front Room Gallery
In Bettina von Zwehl's photographs, one year-old babies are captured in an instant of alertness and total concentration. Depicted in profile and three times larger than life size, they appear almost monumental. Profiles III is an exhibition of several of these startling images.
As part of the exhibition von Zwehl will also be showing a new video piece, created with the help of Museum visitors, which takes a closer look at the fascinating beginnings of our complex relationship with food.
