Wondertots

Join the friendly team from Artburst for 90 minutes of storytelling, movement, drama and art tailored to under 5s and inspired by key objects in the Museum. There’s something new in every session so you can come again and again.

Wondertots runs on Fridays 10.30 – 12.00 and 13.00 – 14.30

Purely Paper

Cut it... Fold it... Build it with paper! Create all sorts of costumes, capes, masks and
machines out of paper to celebrate our new exhibition, Cut it, Fold it.

Dragons and Daydreams
7, 14, 21, 28 January and 4 February 2011
Happy Chinese New Year! To celebrate, come and make dragons and lanterns, and hear exciting stories.

Food Glorious Food

Enjoy scrumptious stories about tasty treats and make mod roc meals! Inspired by our new exhibition, Food Glorious Food.

Moving Toys

Get things moving! Make toys that push, pull, flap or swing, inspired by the Museum’s collection of Moving Toys.  

Into the Night

Shhhh… Which animals come out at night? Find out about all the nocturnal beasts that live in our gardens.

Bookings can be taken up to 14 days in advance. Sessions are FREE, but space is limited.

• Bengali translation is available during the sessions.
• Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer.
• Adults are expected to join in too, so dress for mess.
• Wondertots is best suited to children aged 2-5, however a safe corner is available for
   babies and toddlers.
• Families will receive a Wondertots Resource Pack which includes Museum trails, art
   templates to do at home, song sheets, and a list of other programmes for under 5s.

Wondertots is a project supported by the Big Lottery Fund to encourage families to learn
together.
