Furnishing textiles in the Archive of Art & Design
In the 20th century Britain produced distinctive and popular textile designs. The collections of the Archive of Art and Design allow us to see a wide variety of fabrics that were being sold in popular stores, and the research and ideas of the individual designers.
Development department
The Development department raises money for the V&A. The department runs the Membership programme on behalf of the Friends of the V&A, and is the point of contact for individuals who wish to support the Museum’s work through donations, joining the Director’s Circle or remembering the V&A in their will.
