Mary Wilson
The Supremes recorded 12 US No.1 hits between 1964 and 1969, including five consecutive chart toppers. During the meteoric rise of Motown Records and of the American civil rights movement, The Supremes played an inspirational role in changing racial perceptions and they influenced subsequent performers for many years. Mary Wilson, Diana Ross and Florence Ballard became the epitome of Motown glamour, appealing to black and white audiences alike.

V&A international
The V&A is a global organisation, engaging with international contacts though cultural partnerships, trading, touring exhibitions, loans, advice and skills sharing. International work brings benefits to the Museum and its visitors by enriching our knowledge and expertise and opens up the V&A collections to international audiences through online resources, loans and exhibitions, and international partnerships.

'In Yer Face' theatre describes the wave of new writing in the 1990s that was aggressive, raw, confrontational and angry. Many of the characters are morally reprehensible and the language is aggressive and raw.
Donate to the Stained Glass Appeal
We are currently working on an exciting project to conserve and re-install the original stained glass on the landings of the Manfred and Lydia Gorvy Lecture Theatre. We need your help to raise £75,000 to bring these historical features back to their former glory for us all to enjoy.
