Victoria and Albert Museum

The world’s greatest museum of art and design

These galleries will contain some of the most magnificent and elaborate works of art and design in the V&A collections. Around 1,100 objects will explore European art and design between 1600 and 1800, continuing the displays in the V&A’s award-winning Medieval & Renaissance Galleries and completing the restoration of the entire front wing of the Museum. We are grateful to the Heritage Lottery Fund for their generous support of this project.

The Wolsey Angels Appeal

We urgently need your help to raise the £5,000,000 it will cost for the V&A to acquire four Renaissance angels cast for the tomb of Cardinal Wolsey and later in the possession of Henry VIII.
