Education in museums: what should happen next?

This lecture, arranged in association with the RSA, the Campaign for Museums and the Madeleine Mainstone Trust, was part of the programme for Museums and Galleries Month 2004. With Loyd Grossman in the chair, three leaders in the cultural sector - Mark Jones, Director of the V&A; Professor Lola Young, former Head of Culture at the Greater London Authority; and Sandy Nairne, Director of the National Portrait Gallery - debated the future of education in museums and galleries at the V&A.

A gift in your will

You may not have thought of including a gift to a museum in your will, but the V&A is a charity and legacies form an important source of funding for our work. It is not just the great collectors and the wealthy who leave legacies to the V&A. Legacies of all sizes, large and small, make a real difference to what we can do and your support can help ensure that future generations enjoy the V&A as much as you have.
