Courses and study days
The V&A's popular part-time courses and study days provide an interesting and enjoyable way of extending your knowledge about the museum's exhibitions and collections. They include over 100 different events a year and explore a huge variety of subjects, ranging from textiles, furniture, fashion and jewellery, to the history of art, architecture, theatre and design. Courses are taught by lively and engaging experts and practitioners, utilising objects from the Museum's unrivalled collections. So, sign up to be inspired, meet like-minded people, and gain a fascinating insight into the visual arts and design.
The V&A's evening events programme features talks, discussions and interviews with leading figures in the worlds of fashion, architecture, performance, and design. Speakers have included Bryan Ferry, Renzo Piano, Stephen Fry, Tom Ford, Judi Dench, and Zaha Hadid. Events take place on Friday evenings when the museum and cafe remain open until late, or on weekday evenings after 6. Why not come along for an evening of stimulation, enjoyment and debate.
