Victoria and Albert Museum

The world’s greatest museum of art and design

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s ‘I Have a Dream’ speech, Pulse Ensemble Theatre presents their highly acclaimed one-man show about Dr. W.E.B. Du Bois, a pioneer in the US fight for Civil Rights and the first African American to gain a doctorate at Harvard. Du Bois died on the eve of the March on Washington and King’s ‘I Have a Dream’ speech, and was publicly honoured by King at the event. This absorbing production tells the inspirational story of the political and personal 95 years of his life. "History cannot ignore W.E.B. Du Bois" - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

A gift in your will

You may not have thought of including a gift to a museum in your will, but the V&A is a charity and legacies form an important source of funding for our work. It is not just the great collectors and the wealthy who leave legacies to the V&A. Legacies of all sizes, large and small, make a real difference to what we can do and your support can help ensure that future generations enjoy the V&A as much as you have.
