Roksanda Ilincic

Roksanda Ilincic studied Architecture and Applied Arts in her native Belgrade. She came to London to study for a Masters in Womenswear at Central St Martins, graduating in 2000. 

Recognised for her beautifully crafted garments, Ilincic's distinct style has been inspired by the soft draping and romantic, feminine feel of 1940s and 1950s Parisian couture. She combines these influences with contemporary twists such as raw edges, strong, structural shapes and exaggerated pleating.

Ilincic has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards including, on two occasions, the BFC Fashion Forward Award. She has also been awarded Top Shop New Generation Sponsorship and Fashion East for three seasons.
