Residency Programme

The V&A's Museum Residency Programme gives designers, artists, writers, makers, musicians etc, the extraordinary opportunity to have a studio in the Sackler Centre for six months. Current Residents are Juliana Sissons, a fashion designer specialising in sculptural knitwear, Laurence Kavanagh, an artist creating automata for installations and artworks, and Phoebe Cummings, resident ceramicist.

Book now for self-guided visits to fantastic galleries and exhibitions as well as brand new talks and workshops for primary and secondary schools in 2010/11. Immerse your students in history, design, theatre & performance and cultures from around the world. See period rooms, costume and set designs, original drawings, prints and designs by famous artists and designers from Leonardo Da Vinci to James Dyson. Admission to the V&A and self-guided visits are free.
