This year the V&A is one of nine of the Exhibition Road Cultural Group organisations taking part: Austrian Cultural Forum, Imperial College London, Kensington Palace, Royal Albert Hall, Royal College of Art, Royal College of Music Science Museum and the Serpentine Gallery, with support from Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

If you are visiting different organisations, please see estimated times needed to walk between venues below. Allow yourself an additional 10mins to find out where the event is taking place within the venue.

Approximate times between tube and venues:

From South Kensington Tube:
7 minutes to the V&A and the Science Museum 
15 minutes to Imperial College
20 minutes to the Royal College of Music

From the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal College of Art:
25 minutes to Kensington Palace

Booking Information

This one-day event is free but schools and colleges must make an advance booking for it by calling, 020 7942 2211. Confirmation of your booking will be sent to you and you will need to bring this with you on the day of the event and register your group on arrival. Some of the individual activities such as talks and workshops listed within the programme below also need to be pre-booked as numbers are limited. Please state which of the activities within the programme you would like to book at the time of confirming your attendance at the event.

Working in Product Design
