To celebrate the opening of British Design 1948–2012, we have put together an exclusive prize with the Landmark Trust for a chance to win a stay at the Anderton House, Devon. The Anderton House, designed by Peter Aldington, is an exceptional example of 1970s architecture. The roof appears to float over the spacious open-plan living area and sliding glass walls bring the outside in. It has been saved by the Landmark Trust, an historic buildings’ charity enabling you to experience this unaltered piece of modern architecture by staying in it.
The winner will also gain free entry into all V&A exhibitions for 12 months with a year’s Membership to the V&A, the British Design exhibition book, a goody bag and a set of Vintage Classics books. In celebration of the exhibition, Vintage Classics asked seven of the world-class designers featured in the exhibition to rethink the cover art for a selection of the most unforgettable, ground-breaking and life-changing British novels of the last seven decades.
The first prize prize includes:
-
One stay at the Anderton House (or any Landmark Trust property up to the value of £1000)
-
A year’s Membership to the V&A
-
British Design exhibition book and goody bag
-
A set of Vintage Classics books
