Asian Women in Action

'The opportunity to participate in the Mughal Tent project was very important to us in Blackburn. The Town has a large Asian population - some 15% of the total. Some of them have lived here for many years, having come originally during the long lost days of prosperity in the textile industry. Many people came from the state of Gujarat in India, or from neighbouring areas in Pakistan.' Group Leader
