This exhibition is timed to coincide with the major redevelopment of the V&A's European 1600-1800 galleries and features approximately 80 highlights from the V&A's magnificent holdings of fine and decorative art. It showcases the variety and splendour of these collections through a series of themes, encapsulating important aspects of courtly life in Europe, including power, patronage, taste and fashion.
