Broadcasting House was Britain's first purpose-built broadcasting facility and the architects brief included 22 sound-proofed studios.
It was designed to be in keeping with the surrounding Regency architecture, and is clad in traditional Portland stone. It has external sculptures by Eric Gill.
The building is not open to the public but can be viewed
from outside.
