More about Art Deco

Carreras Cigarette Factory (now Greater London House)
Hampstead Road, Camden Town, NW1 7AD

Architects: M.E and O.H Collins with A.G Porri, 1926-8

The exterior of this Tutankhamun's tomb-inspired factory has recently been restored.

The original Art Deco ornament was removed in the 1960s, along with two black cats flanking the entrance.

The building is now offices and is not open to the public, but can be viewed from the road.
