Lucienne Day is best known for her furnishing fabrics of the 1950s. These are covered in spindly, abstract motifs, like those found in the paintings of Miro. However, here she uses simple geometric shapes in keeping with the powerful graphic imagery of the 1960s.

This textile was acquired as part of the Heal's Archive
