Snap Happy Days

"The best gallery visit I have been to in a long time"

The Snap Happy Days half term photography event took place over nine days from 15 to 23 February. Visitors experimented with three different styles of photography: lomo, instant cameras and photobooths and added their work to the display to create a growing exhibition of public art. Nearly 8,000 visitors came to look at the exhibition and to take part in the activities. This was an event that really did appeal to all ages and encouraged people to look at the museum, and their own creativity, in a whole new light.
