Dog

Dogs are believed to be loyal, watchful and trustworthy. When a dog is linked to a particular person, these qualities become associated with that person.

Here the donor, who gave the stained glass panel to the church, kneels in prayer before a statue of St Mary Magdalene. The dog signifies that he is steadfast in his faith.
