   Visitors' Contributions

The V&A hosted a number of events over the course of summer 2003 at which visitors were able to create their own artwork and upload it onto this website. Please click on the links below to see the pictures our visitors have created.

Photostories
In this event, visitors created a photostory starring museum objects with photographer Chino Otsuka. Experimenting with imaging techniques, pictures were arranged onto a storyboard using speech bubbles to bring the characters to life.
Museum activity: Photo stories 27 July - 5 August, 11.00 - 17.00

The T-shirt project
Visitors created their own T-shirt designs using their photographs of museum objects, with artists Dave Moss and Simon Woolham. Using photography and colour manipulation effects, families were inspired to make amazing unique T-shirts.
Museum activity: Objectify 6 - 15 August, 11.00 - 17.00

Going by the book
If objects could talk, what tales they would tell! Use photography to make a mini-book telling the story of life as a museum object. With artist Paddy Hartley.
Museum activity: Tales to be told 16 - 22 August, 11.00 - 17.00

Trans-4-mation!
Transform yourself in four steps, from regular you to a marble statue or a figure of gold. Make your own props and record your transformation in a photo-booth. With artist Stephen Howard.
