Richard Perry, Son & Co., Wolverhampton, Warwickshire (now West Midlands)

This company made the japanned and tinned ironwares for which Wolverhampton was famous. The red-painted tin wares were inspired by Japanese lacquered wood. Dresser's design, the 'Kordofan' candlestick, was retailed through Liberty in London.

Dresser's association with the company came closest to his ideal of bringing distinguished design to the most modest domestic items. The pieces carry the company's trademark and the words 'Dr Dresser's Design'.
