China is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, no longer satisfied with being a major manufacturer, it is keen to develop its role in international design. Using the V&A’s, China Design Now exhibition as inspiration, this day will show the range and depth of contemporary Chinese design through workshops, talks and performances. Targeted at 13 – 18 year olds, this event is a unique opportunity for your students to gain an insight into what is happening in the Chinese design world, and to meet up-and-coming designers and artists.
