Following last year's successful collaboration with the BBC, the V&A is hosting another series of lectures during May and June 2001 to complement Simon Schama's highly successful BBC television programmes. The lectures at the V&A will feature star objects from the Museum's British Galleries, which open in November 2001. The lectures aim to explore the social and cultural dimensions of the period covered by the BBC series.
