This series is an artificial grouping of material relating to regional matters. It contains: agendas, minutes and papers of the meetings of the Regional Arts Associations (RAAs), 1985-1991; minutes and papers of the Regional Committee and its successor, the Advisory Board: Planning and Development, 1976-1987; funding estimates and allocations for the RAAs, 1978-1984; RAA strategy submissions and estimates for 1985/86 and papers relating to the assessment of these submissions; a selection of project applications for Greater London Arts, 1986; minutes and papers of the Regional Directorate, 1983-1987, Greater London Council Arts and Recreation Commitee, 1981-1986, and the Council of Regional Arts Associations (CORAA), Finance Officers' meetings, 1979-1985; and papers relating to the Arts Council's response to the abolition of the Greater London Council and Metropolitan Counties, 1985-1987.
