During the 1985/86 restructuring of the Arts Council, Combined Arts became a separate unit within the Arts Division. It was disbanded in 1988, with the Multidisciplinary and Arts Centres Committee taking on an advisory role for this area until the formation of a new Combined Arts Unit within the new Arts Development Division during 1991.
This series contains those files relating to the administration and policy of the Combined Arts Unit, such as the minutes of various Advisory Panels and Committees serviced by the Unit, papers relating to dealings with other Arts Council departments and day files. There are also files which were maintained for informational purposes relating to specific Combined Arts schemes such as Live Art, the Making A Difference Youth Fund and the Multi and Inter-disciplinary Fund.
There is no list of individual files in this series currently available.
